USource Webinar: A Practical Approach to Rural Recruiting and Retention Challenges

Join us for a webinar on
Thursday, September 23rd at 10:00 AM CDT

Attracting and retaining talent can be a struggle for many organizations based in rural locations, including community banks. This webinar will examine those challenges and then consider practical approaches your bank can utilize to potentially improve your recruiting and retention efforts.

From an employment perspective, there are unique challenges for both employers and job-seekers in rural areas. For the employer, there’s usually a limited talent pool available from which to select. Job-seekers have fewer options as well. Some employers actually experience more employee relations issues since employees appear to know they are harder to replace!

We’ll consider the proactive steps your bank can take to meet the challenges of recruiting and retaining talented people in rural areas. It is important to view your recruiting and retention efforts from a strategic perspective, just as is being done in other key bank operational areas. If “people” truly are a bank’s most important asset, then you need to refocus on how to attract and retain them which may include going out of your comfort zone. From identifying the issues involved including past successes and failures, to implementing new strategies and measuring results, a bank does not have to be content with the status quo.

Please join us for this webinar as we consider ways to enhance your recruiting and retention success.
